North Texas Juniors Open Results

We had 48 entries Saturday for the 2015 North Texas Juniors Open Skeet Shoot, 5 sub-juniors and 43 junior shooters. We also had about 60 spectator/relatives watching the contestants. Austin Rieth emerged as the Champion with a score of 99/100 closely followed by Brandon Stone who posted a respectable 96/100. The young people were very professional, safety conscious, and shot extremely well. Lots of Club volunteers, parents and school coaches all pitched in to make it a great day and a fun shoot.  Gene Stewart, who is the official NSSA cinematographer, was in attendance and made two movies.  A long version for the kids to watch and a short version to share nationally with NSSA Target Talk.  is a link to the 30 Minute Movie and is a link to the Short Version.  We had many individual and corporate donations solicited by John Delaloye and Gene Stewart.  The kids really made out with both the awards and door prizes.  As usual, everyone enjoyed a great lunch thanks to the guys and gals working the grill and the serving tables.  Chief Referee, Bill McCrary kept things organized and moving right along in spite of a passing thunder storm in the afternoon.
