RESULTS | The Big Bore Open

We had 19 shooters competing in the 2016 Big Bore Open Skeet Shoot held on Saturday, October 15th.   The weather cooperated with just a little breeze and the targets were a bit "sporty."  Tim Cudia emerged as the winner by posting a 98 out of 100 winning by just one target (it always seems to go that way).  He was closely followed by Bill McCrary, Allen Cline, and Adam Roberts with 97's.  After a hotly contested shoot off, Allen Cline emerged as the winner.  Allen was Gun Runner Up and Bill placed Third.  We had four Junior shooters in attendance.  Sean Packer was the Sub-Junior Champion and Class D winner with a solid score of 94.  Rylie Campbell was the Junior Champion and Class E winner, posting a respectable score of 92.  Our Lady Champion was Tamme Cervenka posting a score of 95.  See attached Winner's Report for details: Big_Bore_Winners_Report.pdf

As always, we had great support from the Club members who set up, cleaned up, kept the machines loaded, were referees and provided lunch for the shooters.  Everyone enjoyed the Burgers and Dogs from the grill prepared by Chef for the day, Bruce Mark.

Our next shoot will be a one day, two gun competition on Saturday, November 19th.  Our Annual fund raiser for Kiwanis, "Beauty and the Beast," shooting a 100 target 12 gauge event in the morning and 100 410 Bore targets in the afternoon.  Should be a good time and an opportunity to meet the challenge of shooting the small bore shot gun.  Mark your calendar and plan to attend.  See the attached flyer for details: 2016_Kiwanis_Fund_Raising_Skeet_Shoot.pdf
