RESULTS | Beauty and the Beast Open Skeet Shoot

We had 21 shooters competing in the 2016 Beauty and the Beast Open Skeet Shoot held on Saturday, November 19th. The weather was cool and breezy with the targets occasionally offering a bit of challenge.  Allen Cline led the field in both the 12 gauge and 410 bore events.  He was followed closely by David Blakemore also in both events.   We had nine Junior shooters in attendance. Nicholas Glover was the High Over All Sub-Junior Champion. Ashley Oldfield was the High Over All Junior Champion, and in the winner's circle for both events.  She also bested the field and was our High Over All Lady Champion.  See the following Winner's Report for details:

As always, we had great support from the Club members who set up, cleaned up, kept the machines loaded and were referees.  A special note of thanks to Bruce Mark, Art Kirkwood and Mitch Benway for coming out and refereeing the shoot.  The Greenville Golden K Kiwanis Club provided a great lunch.  Hannah Sauceda did the honors by drawing the winning shotgun raffle ticket for a Remington 11-87 that the Kiwanis club was using for a fund raiser. The winner was Mr. Don Hilton.

Our next shoot will be a one day, two event competition on Saturday, December 31st.  You can shoot some skeet during the day before going out to celebrate New Year's eve.  We will be shooting a 50 pair Doubles event in the morning and a 100 target 12 gauge event in the afternoon.  Should be a good time and will be your last opportunity to register targets for the NSSA 2016 skeet year.  Mark your calendar and plan to attend. See this flyer for details.
